Co-Founder & The Digital Janitor of GMiD

Meet Rasmus, the co-founder of Getting Married in Denmark (GMiD).

A company with deep Danish roots, just like him. (Seriously, a recent DNA test confirmed his family tree has been solidly Danish for the last 500 years!).

His personal journey into Danish wedding tourism began in 2014, when he and his wife, Mana, navigated their own wedding in Denmark.

They quickly realized that while thousands of international couples traveled to Denmark to marry each year, comprehensive support was hard to find.

Having experienced the process firsthand, Rasmus and Mana knew they could help. They took a leap of faith, making their unique insights available to couples, and GMiD was born.

Since then, they haven't looked back, building a trusted resource for destination weddings in Denmark that has now helped more than 10,000 couples achieve their dream wedding since 2015.

Rasmus is very much an ideas man, but more importantly, he's a master at turning those ideas into reality.

He loves tackling challenges with a proactive and positive spirit. With a background as a trained electrician and a fascination for technology and numbers, he playfully calls himself GMiD's 'Digital Janitor,' though his work stretches far beyond the technical.

Rasmus is a true people person, who thrives on building connections and takes immense pride in his team and the exceptional work they do for every couple.
