I cannot say enough good things about GMID. From the moment myself and my wife contacted them everything was so easy and straight forward. The entire team are so helpful and friendly. We were kept up to date at every step of the way and within 3 to 4 weeks had absolutely everything organised. They deal with all the paperwork and legal side of things and you literally just need to show up on the day. Not only that they check in regularly to make sure you have no questions and that you are happy with everything before and after your wedding. Excellent recommendations for photographers and make up also. We chose to marry in Copenhagen as it is a quick and easy process unlike in Ireland which requires 6 months of notice as a minimum and a lot of beauracracy. What we discovered was an amazing and beautiful city we fell in love with and we are already looking forward to returning to it, friendly people and a lovely celebrant and staff at the stunning Town Hall. We wouldn't change a thing and to anyone thinking of contacting GMID for a wedding in Denmark, just do it! Thank you so much to Leanne, Erma and all the team.

I wish the people in charge at GMiD could be in charge of everything - especially anything related to government bureaucracy or paperwork.The process was clearly described from the very beginning and at every stage. We only had to travel a few hundred kilometers to Denmark in order to escape the German bureaucracy - and it all worked out smoothly! From start to finish, we always had staff guiding our way and helping us out in preparing all required documents. Our ceremony was in Helsingor (1h north of Copenhagen), and the town hall was much more beautiful than we anticipated!Overall I can only highly recommend the services of GMID. My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with this agency. Everyone on the team (that we were in contact with) was kind, professional and diligent. I am German and had only met the man of my dreams a bit over six months ago in Mexico. We did our research and decided that a wedding in Denmark would be the right course of action, even if the AFL would invite us for an interview (which they did). The whole process with GMiD was a delight. Response times were fast, they took on all the heavy load regarding the paperwork and always were kind and caring. Their advice was spot-on, we made it through the interview in Odense just fine and got married only two days later in Aabenraa.Had we gotten married in Germany and worked on the translations and apostilles of all the required documents it would probably have become even more expensive than with GMiD. And the two days exploring Odense surrounding the interview showed us again how kind and open the Danish people are. We got so many smiles walking hand in hand through town. It was just amazing. Thank you GMiD for everything!
