Denmark is extremely proud of its deep and long history with LGBTQ+ rights and Pride celebrations are not exclusively for Denmark’s capital city. Kolding holds its own Pride celebration and if you’re in town for this, it is not to be missed. A day of love and community where all are welcome!

When: 21st – 24th August
This is a great music festival for all folk lovers. A wide range of artists from the folk scene including: bluegrass, Irish, and traditional folk music, this is definitely worth attending if this is the sort of music you love to listen to and watch.
What: Ribe Wine Festival
Where: Ribe
When: 30th – 31st August (between 3pm – 8.30pm on Friday and 10am – 4pm on Saturday)
There is a wine festival held in the gorgeous and quaint town of Ribe every year. If you love sampling new wines, then this is the festival for you. There are wine tastings, wine talks and ‘small wine events’ to tantalise your taste buds! You may even purchase a bottle or two that you can take home and store safely, ready to open up in celebration on your 10-year wedding anniversary! 😀 Please note tickets do need to be purchased in advance.
