With more than 20.000 international couples who visit Denmark to have their big day here every year, we decided to build this magazine to give you inspiration for your Danish elopement.

When Leanne from Getting Married in Denmark asked me to talk about Pride and LGBTQIA weddings, I felt really privileged to have the opportunity to use this space to talk about such topics. This also shows Getting Married in Denmark’s commitment towards creating a better world for us all, which makes me very proud to collaborate with them.

The Getting Married in Denmark (GMiD) have five stars for a reason, from start to finish they helped us achieve our goal of getting married in Copenhagen.
The process is very well organised by steps, and each member of the GMiD team we interacted with were clear, concise, professional, and lovely to communicate with.

"Everything on Ærø went wonderfully. The people at the registry office were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they were able to answer all our questions.
We really enjoyed the island – it was very peaceful, and in three days we managed to see everything. It was also lovely to meet other couples – there was even someone from near where we live! We had some great conversations and met people with truly interesting stories. ☺️
