When Leanne from Getting Married in Denmark asked me to talk about Pride and LGBTQIA weddings, I felt really privileged to have the opportunity to use this space to talk about such topics. This also shows Getting Married in Denmark’s commitment towards creating a better world for us all, which makes me very proud to collaborate with them.

Ariel and Nicolai got married in Roskilde, and the day was pure magic.
"The ceremony went above and beyond our expectations," they shared. "The team at the town hall were so kind and friendly, the room we got married in was stunning, and the officiant herself made the ceremony so sentimental and memorable. They even gave us little gifts at the end! We were very touched."
After the ceremony, they had lunch at a café, cake and champagne at @nimbcopenhagen, and photos at the Royal Library. Back at their hotel, they were gifted champagne by the staff and decided to skip their dinner reservations for something more personal—room service in their hotel room, just the two of them.
"It was cute and romantic in its own way as it was very `us`."
"Because you were so thorough, trustworthy, and detailed we were able to really enjoy each other and be fully immersed in the moment and not have to stress about anything that `had to be done`. It was such a gift!"

A Brazilian bride, a German groom, and a quiet `I do` in Odense. Chiara and Thomaz live in Germany, but they chose to come to Denmark alone for a memorable and intimate wedding.
After the ceremony, they had a lovely lunch and strolled through the Christmas markets.
"Our wedding day was probably very unconventional for many people, but for us, in our situation, it was absolutely perfect," they shared. "The entire process was really simple, and both the people at the town hall and the residents of the city were incredibly kind and welcoming."
"Odense is also a truly beautiful city, and we have already decided to come back again in the summer."
"Thank you once again so much for all your help! We could never have done this without you."
