Getting Married in Denmark is a great organization with a team of kind and dedicated individuals who help you every step of the day navigating a confusing foreign bureaucracy. I could not be happier with their attention to detail, prompt responses, and expert advice. It is WORTH THE MONEY, especially if you are on a deadline! There are so many easy ways to accidentally delay your marriage application, so the advice from Getting Married in Denmark is critical. They are also so helpful with their advice and knowledge of different town halls and venders. They even helped us with questions we had about our travel plans in Denmark, as we both had never visited before! I strongly recommend their services, you will not be disappointed!

My spouse and I chose to work with Getting Married in Denmark, as we both have different nationalities and learned online that Denmark requires less paperwork for marriage than other EU countries. We had the most wonderful experience imaginable working with this company, and very highly recommend them to other couples who are considering this option. We communicated with several staff members over the course of the process, all of whom were extremely helpful, detailed in their instructions, friendly, and genuine. They attentively walked us through every step, and even checked in on us during our trip to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Our wedding at the Copenhagen City Hall was so much more magical than we expected - having already attended some city hall weddings in the U.S., we expected it to be mostly about paperwork, but it was so much more than that. The officiant who conducted our ceremony was so warm, and made us feel very at ease. He had some beautiful words to say about love and relationships that brought tears to my eyes, and the witnesses provided by the city hall were so kind as to take plenty of photos and videos for us. After the ceremony we sat in the great hall just basking in happiness, and chatting with some other couples who were also there to get married. It was so special and delightful, and we are extremely grateful to have worked with the Getting Married in Denmark team who made the process so easy and enjoyable!

We only had to travel a few hundred kilometers to Denmark in order to escape the German bureaucracy - and it all worked out smoothly! From start to finish, we always had staff guiding our way and helping us out in preparing all required documents. Our ceremony was in Helsingor (1h north of Copenhagen), and the town hall was much more beautiful than we anticipated!Overall I can only highly recommend the services of Getting Married in Denmark. We would like to thank the whole team of Getting Married in Denmark for their professional help with organizing our wedding ceremonyWe started with free service, where Sam helped us to understand if we are eligible for marriage in Denmark considering our countries of origin and if we can make it within desired timelineAfter that we bought Complete Service and got a lot of useful information about documents preparation, possible locations for wedding, etc. It would take us a lot of time to collect and analyze this data by ourselves.Communication with whole team of Getting Married in Denmark was easy, quick, friendly and very helpful, they were very patient and positive all the time. They replied within max. couple of days for any questions. Our application was submitted on Monday and already approved on Friday. In total from the moment of paying the Complete service to getting approval it took 15 days and then we scheduled the date for the next month (when it was convenient for us to travel to Denmark).We had a very simple ceremony in Stevns town hall, without guests and much preparations so I believe we didn't have chance to explore all opportunities which Getting Married in Denmark offer for organizing the wedding day.Overall, we had very pleasant experience and we recommend Getting Married in Denmark to our friends to wants to avoid bureaucracy during planning wedding process (some of our friends already in process of scheduling wedding in Denmark too)

Our experience with Getting Married in Denmark was exceptional! If you are looking for a company that will help you and assist you in every detail or doubt you have I cannot recommend Getting Married in Denmark (GMiD) enough!We chose the full assistance plan so all of our processes would go through the team and it was amazing, because there was no issue with our documentation, we got our date and prefered venue and it all went smoothly. They were very good at answering our first contact, returned straight away after we purchased the plan (their payment system is very good too), the assistance Maria gave us with our documents was exceptional - I knew every morning I would receive a positive update or a kind email with instructions to correct or amend something that they thought it could be a problem - so I have nothing but good things to talk about the company.Even when we had a few weeks to the wedding and decided we wanted a photographer, they straight away gave us directions and we couldn't be happier for hiring that too. We chose also to apostille our certificates and that process took literally 3 days. We left our certificates on a Sunday on their collect point and they emailed that back to us on Tuesday. By Wednesday we had it on our hands.I was recommended GMID and another company, but what made me close the deal with them was how fast and instructive their emails were, how they really do their best and how their customer service is just amazing. So from a happily married couple to the future happily married couples: Getting Married in Denmark is a good company that is very organised and will make their best to help you on your big day. 🙂

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with this agency. Everyone on the team (that we were in contact with) was kind, professional and diligent. I am German and had only met the man of my dreams a bit over six months ago in Mexico. We did our research and decided that a wedding in Denmark would be the right course of action, even if the AFL would invite us for an interview (which they did). The whole process with Getting Married in Denmark was a delight. Response times were fast, they took on all the heavy load regarding the paperwork and always were kind and caring. Their advice was spot-on, we made it through the interview in Odense just fine and got married only two days later in Aabenraa.Had we gotten married in Germany and worked on the translations and apostilles of all the required documents it would probably have become even more expensive than with Getting Married in Denmark. And the two days exploring Odense surrounding the interview showed us again how kind and open the Danish people are. We got so many smiles walking hand in hand through town. It was just amazing. I cannot say enough good things about GMID. From the moment myself and my wife contacted them everything was so easy and straight forward. The entire team are so helpful and friendly. We were kept up to date at every step of the way and within 3 to 4 weeks had absolutely everything organised. They deal with all the paperwork and legal side of things and you literally just need to show up on the day. Not only that they check in regularly to make sure you have no questions and that you are happy with everything before and after your wedding. Excellent recommendations for photographers and make up also. We chose to marry in Copenhagen as it is a quick and easy process unlike in Ireland which requires 6 months of notice as a minimum and a lot of beauracracy. What we discovered was an amazing and beautiful city we fell in love with and we are already looking forward to returning to it, friendly people and a lovely celebrant and staff at the stunning Town Hall. We wouldn't change a thing and to anyone thinking of contacting GMID for a wedding in Denmark, just do it! Thank you so much to Leanne, Erma and all the team.
