We can definitely recommend GMID for support in everything related to arranging a marriage in Denmark.We live in Germany, so we were not really sure how to do all the paperwork and preparations. So we did a short research and we found that GMID has very good reviews, additionally, one of our friends in Berlin happened to hire this agency as well so we went for it.GMID support was super professional and always answered fast and clearly. In addition to the support on gathering and filing the required paperwork to the Danish authorities, we also got support on town hall recommendations, availability, and additional/separate services that could be needed, such as make-up, photography, etc.Thanks to GMID we manage to get an easy and less stressful marriage process. Also, the follow-up after the marriage was super nice, a very high-standard customer service.We are very happy that we decided to work with GMID!

My partner is polish and I'm israeli and we were looking for a country that would make the marriage process as effortless as possible. We heard about this agency from a friend and from the moment we contacted them, we realised we're on the right track. We got all information we needed right from the beginning, didn't have any questions or challenges! One month later and we arrived at the beautiful island of Ærø. One day before the ceremony we came to present our documents and the workers at the town hall were super nice and welcoming, explaining and showing us how where and how the ceremony is taking place. At the ceremony it was just us, the two witnesses from the town hall who were very nice and offered to take our pictures from my phone and the manager of the ceremony. They all made the experience feel very emotional, romantic and meaningful, exactly as it should. We feel lucky and grateful to have the opportunity to get married in Denmark on such a beautiful island, with the help of such nice people. 10/10 Service!!

We got married in April 2023, and the process was really smooth. They helped us with all the paperwork, they recommended us vendors, and things to do in Denmark with our families, and everything worked as planned. Also we requested the Apostille for our certificates, and we got them at home in Germany 2 days after.I totally recommend them!

Estuvieron en cada detalle vía mail asegurándose de que todos los documentos estuvieran en orden y coordinando la fecha según la disponibilidad. Nosotros solo tuvimos que ir y presentarnos el día pactado. Excelente predisposición y atención. Fue un salvavidas en un mar de burocracia complicada. This review is a long timing coming but I’m thrilled to write it! My now-wife and I had been geographically separated by the pandemic for 3 years, but when travel in both our countries opened back up we finally reunited in Paris and then went to Denmark for our wedding. We scouted the best places to get married as foreigners in Europe, and settled on Copenhagen. The next step was finding the best wedding services provider for us, and we are so happy that we landed on GMiD. My husband and I highly recommend GMID for your wedding in Copenhagen, if you are thinking of getting support 🙂 We married in Frederiksberg Hall last month and had the best time staying in the neighborhood for a couple days before venturing out into the center of Copenhagen. I am American and my husband German btw, and we wanted to avoid the bureaucracy of marrying in Germany so we ventured to Denmark for a smoother process. From our initial correspondence up until the day of the wedding, GMID Team was so supportive in every step of the way. We also found our wonderful florist and photographer thru their recommendation. We are very happy to have worked with GMiD for our wedding. The staff was always very pleasant and patient when answering our questions, their communication was well-organised and easy to understand. They also advised us on which location would best fit us and thoroughly checked our documents so they wouldn't need to ask us to re-submit them. GMiD also helped us to get in touch with one of their photographers (which, by the way, was a great idea because we initially planned to have our friends take photos with their phones due to the price).Overall, the staff seemed very knowledgeable and caring so it was a blast working with them. We don't know how easy finding information and submitting the documents by ourselves would be from outside Denmark but at least working with GMiD to do that was effortless.P.S. If you are planning to get the Apostille thingy on your marriage certificate and have time, we recommend going to Copenhagen by yourselves and getting it for ~30 EUR. The staff at the city hall speaks English (as most Danish people lol), and it takes 5 mins to get the Apostille.

I'm so happy that I got in touch with GMiD. They were so helpful throughout the process. We had bureaucratic issues which forced us to postpone our wedding for a about a year, but they were very patient and extended their help through that time. We always received prompt and detailed responses from them at all times. GMiD gave us fantastic friendly and professional service, such that we managed to get our wedding date at very short notice. The team prepared our application to the Agency for Family Law, which was approved in only a few days. Similarly, we got our booking at our selected town hall on the same day we applied. We cannot over emphasize how great the service was and we recommend GMiD to any couple who wants to elope and get married with minimal fuss and delay. We're happy to report that we had no difficulties whatsoever in registering our marriage back home using the Danish marriage certificate and Apostille. Thanks for everything GMiD!

Well, where to start! As an international couple getting married was a bit challenging in our home countries (Arg - Ger), so we found this incredible agency. Everything was perfect. From contacting them the first time until sending back the legalized wedding certificates. The ceremony was super well organized and the location was stunning (Kolding). Exceptional! No other way to put in words the experience we had with GMID. We contemplated applying without the team as my husband and I very organized about bureaucracy and our situation is not complicated but I’m sure glad we hired GMID. Taking the perfect photos of our passport pages was our biggest hurdle and GMIDs team of pros were super detailed in the requests. They are very responsive and it is evident they are passionate about the work they do to ease the challenge and let couples enjoy this stage of their journey. Coming from countries where bureaucracy is a nightmare my husband and I were pleasantly surprised about the quick turnaround in GMIDs process and the actual ceremony in Denmark. Big plus to visit one of our bucket list countries. Super safe, clean, organized, Danish are wonderful!

The by far best choice for us to get married in Denmark.We made our first request to GMID on 22.12.22 and we got married already on 08.03.23 without any issues. (Even faster would be possible in our case but we just wanted this for us special date)The process to provide all the required documents was well explained and supported. We got approval from AFL to get married in Denmark. The work that Getting Married In Denmark put was outstanding. They made sure that all our documents were in the right format and had the quality required to get approval. If it wasn't for them, I'm sure we would have failed our application, since it's not a trivial process. They also apostilled our marriage certificates and delivered them very quickly to us.
