They guided us with every step and despite a lot of back and forth with our passport pictures (getting them right), it was all to ensure we get accepted first time by the town hall. Which we did! And we got married 2/3 months later in Aarhus. Would recommend 100%!

We chose to seek out support for the bureaucracy of our wedding ceremony in Denmark, as we were not familiar with the local processes. From the very beginning, the team of Getting Married in Denmark showed us why they are a top choice. They replied to our initial questions instantly, guided us through the selection of the support package that worked for us, and instructed us on how to prepare all documents needed.

The GMiD team was with us along the whole way, replying to us pretty much instantly via e-mail and guiding us through the documentation prep. After approval of our wedding ceremony was granted by the Danish town hall, the GMiD team helped us with advice on how to book and carry out our ceremony, and with recommendations on what to look out for during our trip to Denmark. Even after having our wedding certificates, the team checked on us to make sure everything is sorted out, that we have no questions left, and they came across as genuinely interested in how our wedding ceremony went, and above all, they were happy for us.

After writing this review, my wife and I realized that we would need additional originals of the marriage certificates granted to us, as the two certificates we were originally given would not have been sufficient for us. This was due to us wanting to update our marital status in both our countries of origin, and additionally in our country of residence.
We contacted the GMiD team via e-mail and sought advice simply on how to approach this matter, as we wanted to see if this can be done without travelling to Denmark. The GMiD team once again showed us they are worth their weight in gold by contacting the corresponding Danish town hall, requesting two additional original certificates, and having them mailed to our home address, at no additional costs whatsoever. Our problem was resolved basically within a week.

Me and my now wife booked the full service from the beginning, after they consulted us fairly and honestly about what they can do for us and what we could do ourselves. And it was a great decision!

They helped us perfectly from start to finish. At the beginning, they helped us greatly with receiving the marriage approval from the danish marriage authorities. Due to their experience, they knew how the fotos of the passports had to be taken to be accepted by the danish marriage authorities. This resulted in many rounds of sending the documents (like 15 times due to the HDR settings of newer Iphones. But it is better this way than sending the documents wrong and needing to wait for a very long time to get the chance to resend them.

Thereafter, Camila helped us perfectly with choosing the right chapel to marry in. The booking was completely done by Getting Married in Denmark, which made this experience hassle free aswell.

Weeks after the ceremony, we booked the Apostille service, and received the Marriage Certificate no more than one week later afterwards.

We didn't have much time to spend on the bureaucracy, and wanted our approval to get married to go as smoothly as possible, so we decided to use Getting Married in Denmark services, and we are so glad that we did it!
