Experience this beautiful jazz concert in this atmospheric location, in Ærøskøbing church. Nikolaj Svaneborg on the piano and Jonas Kardyb on the drums make this fabulous jazz duo also known as Svaneborg Kardyb. They last performed on Ærø at the jazz festival back in 2021 and they are delighted to return. If jazz is your thing, then make sure you book a ticket now.

A lovely and deep tradition on this wonderful Danish island, sees adults and children alike, dressing up in masks, walking around, making lots of noise and just generally enjoying celebrating this old tradition with each other. So don’t be alarmed if you’re on the island during this period and you see lots of people walking around in masks. In fact, I’m sure you’d be very welcome to join in! 🙂

Ærø’s citizens see Easter Saturday as the gateway into spring. It is a day for relaxing while exploring the beautiful island, be that walking the clifftops, riding the island’s free bus service to check out other towns or just meandering around the quaint island streets, stopping to sample local food or markets. It’s a very lovely time to be on this very lovely island!
