Sabine is German, and Eli is Spanish and they chose to have their wedding in Helsingør.
Sabine told us that for him, seeing that other Germans had taken the step to get married in Denmark had made the decision so much easier for them.
The process in Germany and Spain would have taken them about 12 months and come at huge expense due to a small bureaucratic detail that made things more difficult for them there. So they came to Denmark instead and they had a beautiful day! 😍

The day before your wedding, you’ll head to Copenhagen City Hall to check your documents, and then wait AT LEAST two hours before you can pick them up again.
So what do you do with that time?
Here are 3 things we love doing right there in the city centre.
“We had an amazing time, and Odense was absolutely beautiful. We truly fell in love with the city, and it felt like the perfect setting for our wedding. We are forever grateful to you and the GMID team for all your support throughout this process. You really made everything so much easier for us.
The ceremony went smoothly and felt truly perfect. Afterwards, we spent some time around the town hall and took many beautiful photos in the nearby garden. Denmark is such a lovely place, and we were pleasantly surprised by how warm and friendly everyone was.
Thank you again for all your kindness and support throughout this process. We will always remember it very fondly, and we would absolutely love to return to Denmark again one day.”
