The good news? Some Danish town halls do allow dogs to attend wedding ceremonies.⁠
⁠
However, each town hall has its own rules:⁠
⁠
• Some are very dog-friendly and will provide treats for your furry friends⁠
• Others allow dogs only if they are well-behaved and kept on a leash⁠
• Some town halls do not allow dogs at all⁠
⁠
So it definitely IS possible with a little forethought - let us know before you submit your application that you`re hoping to bring your dog. We can then advise you as to the best dog friendly town hall for you! 🇩🇰 ⁠

“It was just perfect! Everything went smooth, the ceremony was short but it was still emotional for us both! We played the background music we wanted and we were able to film our ceremony. The officer was very friendly and heart warming.⁠

We had a photo shoot after that and then we headed to the Restaurant @saelhunden for lunch with our witnesses. After all this we spent a few hours in Esjberg as well. ⁠

When your couples meet each other on a tiny Danish Island, get talking, and realise they’re from the same place it makes you realise what a small world it is! This is exactly what happened to our lovely Kelly and Angie on Ærø. They told us:⁠

“We’ve just arrived back to Vienna after a magical time in Ærøskøbing. We had a few close family and friends without and had a lovely few days in an Airbnb relaxing, laughing, eating some delicious food and of course GETTING MARRIED! The ceremony was perfect, the weather was perfect, the island (and Denmark in general) was friendly and inviting and we couldn’t have asked for anything better to start our new life together. ⁠

We actually met another couple the day before the wedding at the lighthouse on the island, the groom was from Toronto (not far from my hometown) and we talked about how nice the whole process was with your company. And what a trip to meet another Canadian getting married the same day as us (to a Turkish bride I believe) on a tiny island in Denmark. Love clearly knows no (geographical) bounds.”⁠
