Getting Married in Denmark was created in 2014, by the British / Danish Couple Mana & Rasmus. Based on their own experience when they got married in Denmark.
Since then GMID has expanded to a diverse team from 3 different continents and 11 different countries who all reside in the EU and UK.
We understand exactly what it means to be in an international and intercultural relationship, and the challenging bureaucracy that comes with that.

Danish boy meets British girl, one thing led to another, and after a whirlwind romance, we (Mana and Rasmus) decided to get married in Denmark.
We experienced the process of getting married in Denmark, and all that is involved. We learned how important it is to have the support and inspiration to help you prepare for that special day. So we started an online wedding magazine to inspire couples who wanted a special touch to their celebration.
Naha and Chris had such a wonderful adventure together for their wedding. They made their way from France and Germany to Denmark to get married on Valentine’s Day and in their own words it was “MAGICAL!”
They loved every minute of their wedding day. The weather was with them - the sun even came out.
After their wedding they made their way to Norway for their honeymoon where they were able to see the Northern Lights as they had always dreamed of doing. They told us it was the perfect closing for their wedding celebration!

Alon and Sarah filled their wedding day to the brim with fun, joy, food, love and happiness. They told us their registrar at Roskilde town hall was ‘funny and on point’, adding that little extra touch to their wedding ceremony.
After their wedding they celebrated in a private room at @cofocodk , where they recreated each of their parents’ wedding dances, ate amazing food and just enjoyed every second of their day.
