Documentation specialist & Team Manager
Meet Anke, our expert Documents Team Leader at GMiD.
Since joining us shortly after the introduction of the AFL in late 2019, Anke has been GMiD's primary liaison with the Agency of Family Law, ensuring seamless navigation through the Danish legal landscape for international couples.
Anke's Master of Law degree in European Law from UCL (University College London) offered a good training and basis for understanding international documentation—a crucial asset when preparing your paperwork.
Her practical and analytical approach is a perfect combination when working with the Danish government department.
Anke's strengths lie in her ability to retain and understand the complexities of ever-changing government regulations and her exceptional eye for detail.
Every month, more than 200 couples' applications pass through her team's meticulous review before submission, a responsibility she takes extremely seriously.
Because of the sheer number of applications she's overseen and her daily contact with the Danish government, Anke understands their processes, quirks, and nuances. She can confidently help you navigate their requests and requirements.
Anke's ultimate goal is to ensure that every couple experiences the smoothest possible journey through the bureaucratic process of getting married in Denmark.
This is for those couples who are considering getting married in Denmark and are looking for some helpful information on how to get started and how the process works:
