Describe your wedding photography style in less than 10 words.
Beautiful, authentic and simple images that will last a lifetime.
How did you get into wedding photography?
By coincidence actually. I had been a photographer for a few years and then photographed the wedding of my mother’s physiotherapist in 2014. Now six years later I still love shooting weddings ?
What inspires you as a wedding photographer?
The love between the couple and all the touching moments during the wedding day. Also, this job gives me the chance to meet so many different people from all over the world. That is always very inspiring.
What are you favourite types of places to shoot pictures of a couple?
I don’t really have a favourite place, to be honest. For me it’s all about the couple and their connection, but I do love Copenhagen and wide open spaces in the countryside.
Which is your favourite picture of yourself and who took it?
I have recently started to do self-portraits again and it must be one of those. I love to see the changes in my face as I get older.
What tricks do you use to help nervous couples relax for their pictures?
I am myself. No need to be worried or nervous around me – I’m there for you. My couples always compliment my presence and I think that’s the key. When I am calm my couples calm down.
What do you feel are the key things that make the perfect wedding portrait?
A photograph reflects two things: the people in front of the camera and the photographer. As I mentioned in my previous answer I think it depends on the presence. When you can feel the connection between the couple you will be moved by the portrait. Also, it’s important to mention that there is no such thing as a perfect portrait ?
What is your dream location for a wedding shoot?
I would love to shoot a wedding in Iceland and Faroe Islands.
What do you like to do when you’re not working on photography?
Arh so many things. I like to go to the ocean, take care of my many plants, do yoga, go for a run, cook delicious food with friends or family and so much more.
What is the most important advice you would give to your younger self just starting out it photography?
You are going to love it and learn how to give a really good client experience along the way ?
This is for those couples who are considering getting married in Denmark and are looking for some helpful information on how to get started and how the process works:
