Most couples, when they decide they would like to elope to get married in Copenhagen, make the decision to get married at Copenhagen’s magnificent City Hall. Of course, being at the heart of the city in more ways than one, it’s the natural first choice!
However, what a lot of couples travelling to get married in Copenhagen don’t know is that throughout the year, it’s possible to hold your wedding at a number of alternative locations outside of the City Hall.
These locations could be the perfect choice for you if you always wanted to get married in Copenhagen but have a desire for something just a little more quirky than the town hall, something that fits perfectly with each of your personalities, interests or particular lifestyle.
There are a number of locations that are offered by Copenhagen City Hall, that are outside of the City Hall on specific dates and times throughout the year. These locations cost just that little bit more than if you wanted to get married at the town hall and depending on what you love in life, one of these locations could be just what you’re looking for.
Please note, due to the popularity of these unique outdoor weddings there will be limited availability so if you’re interested then we recommend you contact us to get started as soon as possible.
These ceremonies will be exactly the same as a ceremony held at the town hall, short and very sweet, lasting no longer than 10 minutes. There will also be other couples getting married before you and also after you.
The cost of the ceremonies varies from between 950 Danish crowns to 4000 Danish crowns. In Euros that’s between approximately €128 and €540.
You can see the specific prices for each on the Copenhagen City Hall website.
Let’s take a little look at each location and what it entails…
