My now-husband and I were referred to Getting Married in Denmark by close friends—another international couple—who had an amazing experience with them. At the time, he was living in Germany (originally from Spain), and I was still in the U.S. The distance, visa limitations, and the strain of a long-distance relationship made it clear: something had to change. One of the best agencies to work with if you're planning on getting married in denmark. They are quite experienced with what they do. You'll be given all the info you need from what documents you need, the directions to your town hall and anything else you may need. They respond and solve any queries you may have in a timely manner. What impressed me the most was if I took too long to respond to them they would reach out to me to see if I needed any help. They also check up on you if your ready for the marrige one week before the marrige date.
I also purchased the Apostille service and they sent the marriage certificate to my adress within that same week I got married. Overall I was very impressed by their professionalism and care they've shown from the start of the application all the way to my marrige day. It was worth every penny.

From beginning to end, Getting Married in Denmark was prompt and supportive of our wedding process, and always available for any and all questions that we had.
The process from getting the documentation together to choosing the town hall to get married in, to getting the legal documentation (the apostille service) after the ceremony has been seamless.
The team keeps you updated every step of the way, and even offers wedding day support with recommendations for transportation, hotels, make up/hair stylists and photographer services! All of which helps calm and reassure a nervous and stressed couple trying to organise everything internationally via the internet.

We had an absolutely amazing experience using the services of Getting Married In Denmark (GMiD). After we started off editing the request to get married by our self, we quickly found that we could use some help and reached out to GMiD. Even before booking the services, they provided us some guidance so we could plan everything that needs to be done (including traveling to home country). We then decided to book the "Danish Island Wedding Experience".

In retrospect, we would have selected sooner to go with GMiD. The whole experience is as individual as you are. We had an amazing experience with Getting Married in Denmark (GMiD)! At first, we were skeptical—especially with all the glowing reviews —wondering if they were really legit and as good as they seemed. We also questioned whether an agency was necessary since it’s possible to apply to the AFL on your own of course. However, any small mistake can cause delays of currently at least six months, and GMiD made all the difference in ensuring everything went smoothly.

Only thanks to them were we able to get married within two (!!!) weeks. Their communication was always friendly, helpful, and incredibly quick - even before actually hiring them. Even though we were well-prepared, they caught small mistakes in our documents that could have caused delays, and their experience helped answer questions we hadn’t found answers for elsewhere. Our application was approved after 4 work days.

Their collaboration with Danish Island Weddings not only made our wedding possible so quickly but also ensured it was truly special, with a beautiful location on Ærø and a private registrar. Louise from Danish Island Weddings was absolutely lovely. On top of that, GMiD's recommendations for local vendors were incredibly helpful—including a discount on photographers booked through them.
