We are extremely proud to collaborate with Danish Island Weddings.
A Danish, family-run, destination wedding planner located on the magical island of Ærø. The three sisters; Louise, Yuki and Anna, have been planning destination weddings for couples since 2008 and are experts in the art of micro weddings.
These weddings are suitable for couples who are eloping just the two of you, for those of you bringing only a few guests, and those of you bringing up to a maximum of 30 guests.

You will be fully supported by us at Getting Married in Denmark to ensure your marriage application is approved (we specialise in the documentation / application side of things).
Meanwhile, Louise, Yuki and their small family team at Danish Island Weddings will be your personal wedding planners helping you plan your perfect day.
Together, we ensure the wedding day you’ve always dreamed of, becomes a reality.
Please note that the prices below are not including Getting Married in Denmark’s €875 Complete or €295 Essential service prices. These are payable in addition to the prices you see below.

With this Danish Island Weddings’ Old Merchant’s House Wedding, you will get married in a beautiful room in this gorgeous old building, located on the square in Ærøskøbing.
This location is impressive. It is classy and timeless and suitable for weddings in any season.
Imagine; fresh flowers in spring, the windows open and the smell of the sea air in summer, the golden colours of the sun streaming through the windows in autumn (with the sound of raindrops smattering the window panes every now and then 😉) and fairy lights and candles during the darker winter months.
As Louise and Yuki say “it is the perfect location for minimum stress and maximum hygge!”
It has been decorated by Louise and Yuki in keeping with Ærø’s ‘style’, featuring artwork on the walls by local artists, antique chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and classic furniture adorning the wedding room.

Are you feeling you’d like a little more ‘adventure’ sprinkled into your wedding day?
Do you love to do things a little differently?
Then having your wedding at the top of this Lighthouse in Ærø could be the perfect choice for you.
It would feel like having your wedding on top of the world, and with panoramic views of Ærø’s stunning beauty in every direction, this is the most incredible place to say your “I Dos.”
Again, Louise and Yuki will be with you to plan every aspect of your day to ensure that this is the perfect day you always dreamed of.
The Lighthouse will be closed to the public for 1.5 hours so you can really enjoy your ceremony and time there.
Please note however, that it’s only possible to have 2 to 3 guests with you, plus the registrar, so this would be a great choice for those of you who will not have many guests attending.

We get asked a lot if it’s possible to get married on a beach. Well, yes – it is! 🙂
You may or may not already know, but Ærøskøbing is famous for its pretty and colourful beach huts which makes for the perfect spot for a wedding!
With this Island Wedding Experience there will be a wedding arch on the beach for you to get married underneath, which will be adorned with beautiful, seasonal flowers.
There will be champagne and cake for you and your guests to celebrate afterwards and full use of Danish Island Weddings’ sweet & colourful beach hut and its facilities for up to 3 hours.
Louise and Yuki will give you a tour of the exact location the day before your wedding, so you know exactly what to expect and can finalise any last minute details.
