Your Wedding in Copenhagen

Congratulations! You’ve decided to hold your wedding in Copenhagen City Hall. Copenhagen City Hall was designed by architect Martin Nyrop with inspiration from Siena City Hall and introduced in 1905. It’s stunningly Romantic and grand with a unique atmosphere.

Copenhagen City

This cosmopolitan Scandinavian capital city is rich in history and has a great mixture of old and new. Stylish Cafés and restaurants can be found at every turn and the city is full of life with every season having a unique atmosphere to offer.

GETTING AROUND COPENHAGEN

From the moment you step off the plane, getting around Copenhagen is made simple and easy. To get to the city centre, you can hop on a Metro which is a 25 minute journey in to the heart of the city.

Buy a city pass and travel with ease

We suggest you buy a city pass before you travel to Denmark, this way, you can board the Metro and start travelling around without worrying about tickets.

The City Pass gives you unlimited access to buses, trains, metro and harbour buses in zones 1, 2, 3 and 4, which includes the centre of Copenhagen and to and from the airport.

An adult 24-hour City Pass costs DKK 80 and an adult 72-hour City Pass costs DKK 200. If you are under 16, a 24-hour City Pass costs DKK 40 and a 72-hour City Pass costs DKK 90. Buy this ticket at the airport, station or Buy it here

Make things easy for yourselves by planning your routes before you get here. Time is of the essence for many of our couples so anticipating journeys between your accommodation and your ceremony location such as the City hall is advisable.
