1. Send us your documents

Your wedding adviser at Getting Married in Denmark will help you through the translation process. Once you have sent your documents that require translation to them, they will then introduce you to our translation team.

2. We calculate the price

Once we receive you documents, we calculate the price and send you a quote along with the link to make payment, if you would like to proceed.

3. Make a payment

Once we have received your payment, we will send your documents to our translators.

4. Your documents are ready to use in Denmark.

We email you your documents. Your translated documents will come with the original documents and a translation certificate in one file.



How long will my translation take?

The whole process usually takes a couple of days, though non-European languages tend to take slightly longer.

Do I have to count the words myself?

No, we do that for you. You send us the documents; we count the words and get back to you with a price.

What languages do the town halls accept?

Denmark’s town halls accept documents in Danish, English and German.

I just need my documents translating; do I have to use your other services?

Even if you are not using our services to get married in Denmark, you can still translate your documents here.

Will my documents definitely be accepted by the town hall?

Our translations are certified and will definitely be accepted as official translations of your documents by the town hall.




Send us your documents as jpg. or pdf. files. They must be clear and easy to read. Please specify what language they are in, add whether you would like them to be translated into English, Danish or German.

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you have sent us your documents. Then one of our team members will get back to you with a quote.

Please note we cannot guarantee that the documents you send us for translation will be deemed acceptable by the town hall or our wedding consultants. There will be no refund if documents are unacceptable or not needed after our translation, so please double-check what is required for your particular situation and what our wedding advisors have requested from you before sending them.
