Parisian designer Delphine Manivet trained at the prestigious Institut Supérieur de la Mode in Paris and fashion houses such as Rochas before deciding to open her own fashion house to create the imagery of the bridal gowns you see before you now. We’re so glad she made that decision!

here and now, The bride she designs for is “A classically elegant bride, with a crazy look, full of cheerfulness, a rebel deep down” Her creations this year are divinely classic and yet so mysterious and ethereal. How can a dress be made to be so beautifully understated and yet so full of spirit? Delphine Manivet clearly knows how, she tells us, “The fabrics are heavier and sharper. I applied techniques of tailoring to dresses academically attributed to a certain airyness” Her pieces this year incorporate crinoline designs which are notoriously difficult do manage tastefully and yet Manivet mastars this feat gracefully.[doptg id=”5″]
