I’m a documentarian wedding photographer capturing awesome people in love.
My grandma gave me my first camera on my 16th birthday. Since then, I have photographed on every possible occasion. Along the way I found my passion weddings; where I can combine my documentary approach with meeting awesome couples.
In 2013 I photographed my first wedding and I haven’t looked back. Fast-forward to 2022, I quit my day job as a teacher to become a full-time elopement- and wedding photographer.
You guys and your ideas and thoughts about your wedding day!
Every elopement or wedding is unique – often it is the minor details that define who you are and your day. If I have to point out other things, it will be culture, music, my family and my friends.
My favorite place to shoot?
It’s simple. Whenever you guys are in the front of the camera, I am in my comfort zone. Where we are is secondary, I can work with whatever location I’m given!
My son took an analog photo of me with my Olympus MJU II camera with a loaded Kodak Gold 200 film. That photo means a lot to me! Sharing hobbies with your loved ones is fantastic.
The most important thing for me, is that you are relaxed and having fun!
Honestly, I don’t have any special tricks – instead I focus on building an understanding and trusting relationship with you guys, so you feel comfortable and relaxed. In my experience that results in genuine photos, that reflects who you are.
Trust.
That you are happy and confident about your choice of me as your wedding photographer.
And that the two of you can have fun together.
I have Canada and the Faroe Islands on my bucket list. Would be amazing to combine an elopement with these two places!
Shawarma, flat whites, ice-hockey, friends and my family.
That’s what I love and what I spend my time on. Oh, and I spend a decent amount of time on my gravel bike, wearing Lycra even though it is not a very flattering outfit for me.
Go for it!
Don’t sell your analog cameras, try van-life and put your savings in crypto!
