Todays wedding is sweet and fairy tale-like. Captured by Anna Lauridsen Kullafoto she tells us in her own words, all about this beautiful romantic wedding and couple!
The week before the wedding, I met my future wedding couples on Vegeholms castle. I had never been there before and wanted to check out photo locations, take some test shots and meet the kind Count living there. Before the groom suggested the castle for the portraits I had never heard about it. Even though it is just a mile from where I live. At first you think you have taken a wrong way out there, driving in the middle of the woods! Then suddenly a clearing opens and Abra Cadabra, the castle pops up! Large and magnificent with a river that wind around along the castle and fill the moat. The buildings, the park and its surroundings are so beautiful that you gasp and get thrown into another world! All of a sudden it feels like you are on the continent, in the south of France or another warmer country. Not Sweden! Lavender blossoms, everywhere climbs winding plants and large old chestnuts that are imported for several hundred years ago, trees that provide shade or protection from rain. There are romantic small buildings, antique urns, trellises, statues and a flock of geese! This foreign feeling matched my brides perfectly given their careers as pilots and cabin crew where they travel all the time!

On the wedding day, I met the groom in the courtyard where Fredrik was waiting for his own princess, the beautiful bride Alexandra. We started with the emotional first – look – pictures and then we proceeded with the wedding portrait in the beautiful park and in fine, fine summer rain. The bride’s sister, and Frederick’s best friend was also there and later even the bridal couple’s incredibly sweet and beautiful children. We really had too little time for the portraits given the absolutely stunning surroundings … I could have photographed there for days! After the ceremony in Ängelholm church, I took pictures of the happy newlyweds at the 8 km long fabulous sandy beach Råbocka. Then it was time for the wedding party at the historic Klitterhus Havsbadshotell – a historic seaside resort – where family and friends waited. The hotel is ON the beach, in a beautiful bay with amazing views. Thank you finest, beautiful brides for a wonderful day and evening and for choosing me as your wedding photographer ?
